General Assembly

The General Assembly is the governing body of the whole church and the highest court of appeal in judicial matters. It consists of approximately 150 voting commissioners, including the moderator and stated clerk of the previous assembly and such ministers and ruling elders as are commissioned by their respective presbyteries. The Seventy-sixth General Assembly will meet at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday May 27, 2009, with a terminus no later than noon, Wednesday June 3, 2009.
